Following the success of the last six competitions, this year’s event will again be organised by Leicester’s Got Talent LTD supported by Pukaar News, Anand International, Bond Adams LLP Solicitors and LAMP in association with the crime-fighting charity CrimeStoppers and Leicestershire Police.
Come and join us for live performances from Emmanu'-EL Apostolic Gospel Academy (EAGA Choir) and Footloose Stage School, bible readings and carol singing. Our cosy carol service is a great time to meet with friends and celebrate Christmas with mulled wine and mince pies. The event is open to everyone so you are all are welcome to our lovely Victorian theatre for the festivities.

Caboodle are delighted to be returning to the Y Theatre with another Christmas pantomime. Join us on our adventure as Jack and his mum, Dame Trott, try to come up with enough money to pay the greedy Mr Nick Alott and stop themselves from being evicted. A fun filled pantomime, with original music and loads of energy. Suitable for pre-school and primary children and their families.
Brazilian percussionist and composer Adriano Adewale and his band are joined by 90 children from Leicester city schools performing their own music in this very special Spark festival performance.
Mr Swing & The Beat Rangers are a rhythm collective who speak in the language of percussion and dance. The show follows the adventures of Mr Swing, a break-dancer, who stumbles upon a kit drummer, beat-boxer and Djembe drummer. Find out how Mr Swing uses the power of dance to pop, lock and unite the musicians together to form, The Beat Rangers.
The original family dance party Baby Loves Disco comes to the Y Theatre. With resident club DJ, DJ Dub, mixing feel-good dance floor fillers with pop classics from the years before parenthood struck right up to the present day. The perfect party for parents and babies, toddlers and young children to dance together. Hold tight for all manner of dance floor shenanigans, mummy and daddy dance offs and a whole host of dance-floor fun and games!
Suitable for parents of all ages and children aged 0 – 7 and older siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles all welcome!

Meet Me A Tree is an interactive first opera for 0-2 year olds and their carers. With music by Schumann, Delibes and Monteverdi as well as familiar nursery rhymes and original songs, HurlyBurly invites you and your baby on a multi-sensory journey through a year in the life of a tree. Sing with blackbirds, march through fallen leaves, smell new blossom and feel the wind on your cheeks with us. With beautiful singing and relaxing music at its core Meet Me A Tree will be an opportunity to unwind and have fun for new parents, carers and babies.
Yellow seats admit one child aged 0-2 and one adult. Additional adults and children can be booked on top of this.
